CS Strategy Docs

Everything about how $CSSTR works: the token, the skin treasury, how drops are claimed and how to verify it all yourself.

01

Overview

CS Strategy ($CSSTR) is a Solana token that turns trading volume into a vault of real Counter-Strike 2 items. A 3% tax on trades funds a public skin treasury. The treasury buys in-demand CS2 skins, knives and gloves, and those items are dropped to holders through Steam trade offers.

How value flows

STEP 1
Trade
Someone buys or sells $CSSTR. A 3% tax is taken.
STEP 2
Vault
2% goes to the skin treasury, 0.4% to operations and 0.6% to Meteora.
STEP 3
Buy skins
The treasury buys CS2 items on established marketplaces and holds them in public vault bots.
STEP 4
Drop
Every 4 hours a snapshot is taken. Each qualifying holder gets a skin sized to their share, withdrawn to Steam.

How the tax works on-chain

The 3% isn't built into the token. It's the trading fee of the Meteora pool $CSSTR trades on, so it only applies to swaps:

What's taxedBuys and sells through the pool. Sending tokens between wallets is not taxed.
Where it's setThe pool's Meteora config: a 3% fee on the bonding curve and the same 3% after migration.
Who gets itMeteora keeps 0.6% as its protocol fee. The other 2.4% is claimed by the treasury wallet (9AsA…xbwM), which keeps 2% for skins and sends 0.4% to the operations wallet.

Treasury

The skin treasury is the heart of CS Strategy. Its funds are only used to buy CS2 items for holder drops.

Treasury updatesThe Treasury section on the website is synced from the vault bots' public Steam inventory, at least once per drop.

What the vault buys

  • Item types: knives, gloves and high-tier skins with steady demand.
  • Price range: about $1 to $3,000 per item, from a fixed price list of 40 skins so every drop size has a match.
  • Selection rules: well-known items with active listings on the marketplaces below. No pattern-priced finishes (Doppler phases, Case Hardened, Crimson Web), since the same name can be worth many times more.
  • Prices: refreshed from Skinport's public price list before each snapshot.

Where it buys

Only on established, high-volume marketplaces: CS.Money and Tradeit (instant purchases from trading bots) and Skinport. CS Strategy is not affiliated with any of them.

Drops & claiming

Who qualifies

  • Hold at least 0.1% of the supply (1,000,000 $CSSTR) at snapshot time.
  • Connect your wallet and add your Steam trade URL in the Claim section on the website (needed to withdraw your skin).
  • Snapshots run on a fixed schedule: the first one 30 minutes after launch, then one every 4 hours. The C4 countdown on the website shows the next one.

How your skin is worked out

Every qualifying holder gets a skin, sized to their holdings. There's no lottery:

  • Your share of the drop = your tokens ÷ the tokens held by all qualifying holders.
  • Your skin's value = your share × the vault fees collected for that drop.
  • You get the most valuable skin on the price list that doesn't go over that value.
  • Tokens in the liquidity pool, and in other program-owned accounts like LP lockers, aren't counted, so they don't take a slice of the drop. Holders under the 0.1% minimum aren't counted either. Anything left after rounding down to a real skin stays in the vault.

Each drop's snapshot file (every wallet, its share and its skin) is published with the site, so anyone can check the maths.

How to claim

  1. Go to the Claim section on the website and connect your Solana wallet (Phantom, Solflare, Backpack or Coinbase Wallet).
  2. Unlock your case. The skin you get is set by the snapshot; the spin just reveals it. It goes into your inventory on the site.
  3. Paste your Steam trade URL. Find it in Steam under Inventory → Trade Offers → "Who can send me Trade Offers?".
  4. When the item's 7-day trade hold ends, press Withdraw and sign a message to prove the wallet is yours. Signing is free and can't move your funds.
!
We will never ask for your seed phrase or private key, and linking never needs a transaction that sends tokens. Anyone asking for either is a scammer.

Steam account requirements

  • Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator enabled for at least 7 days. Without it, Steam holds incoming trades for up to 15 days.
  • Account is not trade-banned or restricted.
  • Your trade URL is current. Changing it on Steam makes the old one stop working, so update it on the claim page too.

Receiving your skin

After you withdraw, you get a trade offer from the official vault account: steamcommunity.com/id/csstrategyvault. Always check the sender's profile against this page before accepting. Items bought on marketplaces are covered by Steam's 7-day trade lock, so they can only be withdrawn once that lock clears. The site shows a countdown on each item.

Unclaimed skins: once an item's trade hold ends, you have 14 days to withdraw it. Each item on the site shows how many days are left. If it isn't withdrawn in time, the skin stays in the vault and goes to another holder in a later drop.

Stay safe

  • Check the contract address against this page every time you buy. Fake tokens often copy the name and ticker.
  • The team never DMs first. Anyone messaging you about "support", "airdrops" or "claims" is a scammer.
  • Never share your seed phrase or approve transactions you don't understand.
  • Only accept trade offers from the official vault account (steamcommunity.com/id/csstrategyvault). Scammers create look-alike Steam profiles with the same name and picture.
  • Watch out for fake sites. Bookmark the real one and check the address before connecting your wallet.
